David Allen

Having completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England & Wales), David is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) which has provided him with a deeper understanding of Trust and Estates Taxation and Administration and Wills and Succession from a legal perspective. 

David is able to assist in dealings around UK trusts and estates of varying sizes and complexities through education whilst achieving a STEP qualification, his experience whilst working at Tinn Criddle and his previous experience as an accountant.

David is also the firm’s Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA) and principal in charge of the accounts department.

He is experienced in:

• Advising and preparing Wills of varying levels of net worths;
• Offering advice for estate planning;
• Advising on inheritance tax;
• Advising on care home fees;
• The availability and suitability of testamentary and lifetime trusts;
• Drafting post-death variations of Wills and intestacies;
• Advising on and preparing lasting Powers of Attorney;
• Administering estates of all sizes and complexities.

David is based at the firm’s Sutton-on-Sea office but is available by appointment at any of our other offices.
